I make this hummus all the time! We love having it on hand for an appetizer or on the go snack. I love dipping carrots, cucumbers, or pretzels in it. It takes minutes to make, and is so delicious!
Ingredients: Makes 1 small jar of hummus
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1-2 Tablespoons water, optional
- red pepper flakes for topping, optional
- sun-dried tomatoes for topping, optional
Directions:
- Add the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, and sea salt to a high speed blender or food processor.
- Blend or process until well combined. You can add a Tablespoon or two of water if it isn’t blending well enough or if you want a creamier hummus.
- Remove from the blender and top with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and sun-dried tomatoes. Enjoy!
